Abhishek Kapoor Career

In the 1996 Vipin Handa film “Uff! Yeh Mohabbat,” he made his debut alongside Twinkle Khanna. He feared his career was ended after the movie bombed at the box office, but after appearing in two more movies, Ajay Kashyap’s Aashique Mastane and Bobby Raj’s “Shikaar,” he made the decision to follow his dream of becoming a director.

He made his directing debut in 2006 with the action drama Aryan: Unbreakable. His most ambitious and ground-breaking film to date, Rock On!! was written and directed by him in 2008. For his work on this movie, actor-turned-director Farhan Akhtar received numerous honours, including Best Feature Film at the National Film Awards and Best Story at the Filmfare Awards.

His 2013 drama buddy movie Kai Po Che!, which marked his return to directing after a long absence, was based on Chetan Bhagat’s The 3 Mistakes of My Life. He rose to legendary status in the Bollywood business as a result of this movie. Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu are featured in the recently released romantic drama movie “Fitoor,” which will be followed by the start of production on the first installment of a movie rendition of the ancient epic The Mahabharata.

Abhishek is noted for routinely using uncredited actors in his movies. He believes they may act with more authenticity and heart because they aren’t aware of the flash and glamour. He is renowned for basing his movies on well-known books. While “Kai Po Che!” is based on Chetan Bhagat’s book, “Fitoor” is based on Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations. Abhishek is currently concentrating on writing his screenplays, but if an interesting chance arose, he might think about going back into acting. He aspires to direct in the future and, among the younger performers, is most interested in working with Hrithik Roshan since he believes the actor gives each performance more than his or her all.
