Anandhi Early Life
Anandhi, a Telugu-speaking person, was born on December 10th, 1996. Anandhi and Socrates were wed on January 7 at Warangal, Telangana. In addition to being the brother-in-law of Moodar Koodam director Naveen, the former marine engineer turned assistant director is well recognised for his work on the films Agni Siragugal and Alaudhinin Arputha Camera.
Anandhi Career
Anandhi’s debut movie role was in the coming-of-age drama Bus Stop by Maruthi Dasari (2012). Positive reviews came in from the critics. Her subsequent movie, Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama, debuted in March 2013 to mixed reviews, with one critic opining that the performances of the two leads, Varun Sandesh and Hasika, “saved the movie.” Anandhi and a relative newcomer, Revanth, acted in Vijay Maddala’s next film, Green Signal, which received mixed reviews.
She and Harish Kalyan co-starred in Manimaran’s 2013 Tamil film Poriyaalan, and she soon joined the cast. The film’s scope greatly increased during production after director Vetrimaaran decided to join the production team as a co-producer. Anandhi portrays the title character in the Prabhu Solomon-directed movie Kayal. During her second audition, the director was so taken with her that he decided to alter her name from Rakshita to Anandhi for the movie. Her creations were warmly received. She received nominations for a number of awards this year, including Best Debut Actress at the Vijay Awards.
Anandhi made her acting debut as the love interest of Atharvaa’s character in the 2015 Bala film Chandi Veeran, written and directed by A. Sarkunam. Anandhi and G. V. Prakash Kumar co-starred in the adult comedy movie Trisha Illana Nayanthara in 2015. After the film was released, Anandhi expressed her dissatisfaction with the director, claiming that she had been misled into thinking it would be a “cute love story” as opposed to a “adult comedy.” Nevertheless, Anandhi helped promote the movie’s Telugu release. She appeared briefly in the 2016 film Visaranai before starring alongside G. V. Prakash Kumar in the films Enakku Innoru Per Irukku and Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru.
Rubaai, Pandigai, and En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom were some of her 2017 films. Mari Selvaraj’s 2018 directorial debut, Pariyerum Perumal, is one of the best Tamil movies to highlight caste discrimination and the pain of the downtrodden. The cast’s performances were praised, and the movie got positive reviews after its debut. The following project she worked on was Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu (2019). Anandhi’s performance in the movie was similar to what she had done in Pariyerum Perumal.
