She started her modelling career when she was just 15 years old. She shot to fame after modelling for a Parker Pen campaign alongside Bollywood’s biggest star, Amitabh Bachchan.

Film debut: “Tujhe Meri Kasam,” released in 2003. Her film debuts were the Tamil and Telegu films “Boys” (2001) and “Satyam” (2003, respectively).

Two Telugu films (‘Happy’ and ‘Raam’) and one massive hit (‘Bommarillu’) were released under her direction in 2006. In the same year, she was also featured in “Chennai Kadha,” a Tamil film.
