Gopichand was born on June 12th, 1979 in the Prakasam district. The younger son of T, he is. Director Krishna When Gopichand was 8 years old, his father passed away. Before continuing on to higher education in Russia, where he received a Mechanical Engineering degree, Gopichand completed his secondary education at the Ramakrishna Mission School in Chennai. He married Reshma, and the union produced two children.

His older brother Premchand, who was a director’s assistant for Muthyala Subbaiah, perished in a car accident. Gopichand, who was in Russia at the time, was unable to attend his funeral due to visa issues. One of his relatives is a dentist who is his younger sister.
