Kalyan Ram’s father, grandfather, brother, and uncle were all involved in the film industry, therefore it was in his family’s blood. He’s been in movies since 1989, when he was just a kid. Arts is the name of Ram’s production company in honour of his grandfather. He also serves as the CEO of video effects company Advitha Creative Studios, which worked on films including Legend, Nannaku Prematho, and Krishnashtami.
Kalyan Ram Career
Ram’s first two films as an actor, Abhimanyu and Toli Choopulone, were critical and commercial failures. N.T.R. Arts was founded in 2005 under the name he had given it in honour of his grandfather, the late N. T. Rama Rao. His second film, Athanokkade, which he also produced, was Surender Reddy’s directorial debut and a commercial and critical success. Asadhyudu, Vijayadasami, and Lakshmi Kalyanam were among his later films that bombed at the box office.
In contrast, his 2008 release Hare Ram was a critical and economic success. Jayeebhava (2009) and Kalyanram Kathi (2010), two of his films, were both critical and commercial failures. Ram acted in and produced the first 3D action film in India, titled Om 3D, which was released in the late summer of 2013. There was a lot of positive chatter about the film, yet it nevertheless tanked at the box office. Pataas, starring Ram, was a commercial and critical hit in 2015. His first film credit outside of acting was as a producer on N.T.R. Arts’ Kick 2. The film that Surender Reddy directed and starred Ravi Teja in was a financial failure.
Sher, starring Ram and Sonal Chauhan, was released in the second part of 2015. The film’s director, Mallikarjun, and producer, Vijayalakshmi Pictures, are to be credited for their efforts.
