Malik OTT Release Date (Amazon Prime Video): Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming Malayalam political crime drama film ‘Malik’ likely to get a direct OTT launch soon. Now, the makers have confirmed that Amazon Prime Video has purchased the direct-to-OTT launch rights of ‘Malik’ for Rs. 22 crores. The movie is reported to have a production value of Rs. 30 crores, making it probably the most expensive Malayalam film to be made in 2022.
Anto Joseph said that the films will be able to recover production costs only if 100% occupancy is permitted in theatres. So, opted for OTT in these difficult times. However, Anto is yet to reveal details regarding the OTT platforms that have secured the rights for the two films. Malik stars actors Fahadh, Biju Menon, Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, and Vinay Forrt in pivotal roles.

Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Malik’ has been postponed for a year now. The movie lastly got an Eid release date in 2022 but postponed due to COVID-19. This too bought delayed due to the sudden resurgence of Covid-19 circumstances everywhere in the state of Kerala, and this has brought about the state authorities to briefly shut down all cinema halls and problem a lockdown throughout the state.
