Meher Vij Early Life
The fact that Meher Vij was born Vaishali Sahdev is not widely known. She changed her name from Vaishali to Meher due to the popularity of her on-screen persona, “Meher Juneja,” from the television show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
Meher Vij Career
Meher debuted onscreen in Saaya, a cameo role as a nurse, before making her Bollywood debut with the 2005 film Lucky: No Time For Love (2003). While they were filming Kis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil, Meher fell in love with her co-star Manav Vij. Only a few months had passed since they started dating before they tied the knot in a private ceremony. Despite preferring positive plays, Meher tried her hand as a villainous role in the TV series Ram Milaayi Jodi (2010). Meher’s 2013 short film The Pied Piper has been exhibited at many international film festivals. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan served as her Bollywood debut movie (2015). In the movie, Meher played Munni’s mother opposite Harshali Malhotra.
