Mohit Suri Career

His first film, Zeher (2005), which he made as an assistant director when he initially entered the business, was only somewhat successful. He then published Kalyug, his most financially and critically acclaimed book to date, as a follow-up. His third film, Woh Lamhe (2006), earned positive reviews from critics despite its less successful box office performance.

His following movie, Awarapan (2007), was a commercial and critical triumph. In an interview with Radio Sargam, Mohit said: “I am really hard on myself when it comes to my own work. Never, ever would I boast that a product I made was a masterpiece. I give it my all every day and hope that’s enough.” The sequel to Raaz (2009) by Mohit was once more favourably received by viewers.

Zeher, his first film, was only marginally successful but it served as his directorial debut. The follow-up, Kalyug (2005), too got good reviews and did well at the box office.
