In 2006, he completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly. From 2006 to 2008, Nivin took advantage of campus placements to work as a software developer for Infosys in Bangalore.
