For the past few years, Prabhas’s village of Bhimavaram has been in the spotlight because citizens have petitioned the Indian Aviation Ministry to allow them to construct an airport without using any government funds. Therefore, Prabhas has earned a reputation as one of India’s most generous taxpayers. To the tune of about Rs.7 crore, he forked over his share of 2016’s tax revenue.
