After completing his primary education at Arya Vidya Mandir in Mumbai, Prateik Babbar transferred to Jai Hind College and St. Andrew’s College of Arts, Science, and Commerce to complete his bachelor’s degree in the humanities.

Prateik Babbar Early Life

Babbar was born on November 28, 1986, to actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil. Tragically, Prateik’s mother died from complications during childbirth before he was even born. Prateik was raised by his maternal grandparents in Mumbai.

He has mentioned in interviews that he didn’t get along well with his father when he was younger because he was “constantly preoccupied with his other family.” However, Prateik also asserted that after becoming an adult, he and his father had reconciled. Prateik’s stepmother Nadira Babbar, half-sisters Arya Babbar and Juhi Babbar are all actors.

While he was filming the movie Ekk Deewana Tha in 2011, he began dating the British actress Amy Jackson. They chose to split up the following year. Babbar, a lifelong addict, triumphed over his drug and alcohol addiction in 2013. He began therapy and treatment, and ever since, he has remained sober.
