Rahman Early Life

Rahman, a future actor, was born on May 23, 1967, in Trikaripur, Kasaragod, Kerala, India. Meherunnisa, the wife of music director A.R. Rahman, and Rahman were wed on April 2, 1993. Meherunnisa is the sister of Saira Banu, the spouse of Rahman. Alisha Rahman and Rushda Rahman are siblings.

Rahman Career

Rahman made his acting debut in the 1983 Malayalam film “Koodevide.” He worked with almost all of the important Malayalam filmmakers of the time. In addition, he made numerous notable Malayalam film appearances, such as those in Kanamarayathu, Chilambu, Thammil Thammil, Pappan Priyappetta Pappan, Uyarangalil, Vaartha, Upaharam, Poomukhappadiyil Ninneyum Kathu, and a great many others. In the early 1990s, he transferred his attention to Tamil and Telugu films.

He had a brief comeback in the Malayalam movies Mazhavilkoodaram, King Soloman, and Hitlist. He made his acting debut in the 1986 Tamil film Nilave Malare directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. He thereafter began to make appearances in the Tamil films Kanne Kaniyamuthe, Vasantha Raagam, and Anbulla Appa. His full crossover to Tamil and Telugu cinema occurred in 1989 when he appeared in the films Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal, Puriyaadha Pudhir, and Nee Pathi Naan Pathi.

In the 1984 Telugu movie “Manmadha Saamrajyam,” he made his acting debut. Later in 1999, he appeared in the Tamil movie “Sangamam” directed by Suresh Krishna. He made numerous Tamil film appearances in the years that followed. After a long break, he made a comeback in the Telugu film “Dhariyam.” Next, he made an appearance in Muthyala Subbaiah’s Telugu film “Aalayam.” He starred in “Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru,” a detective thriller directed by Karthick Naren, the following year, in 2016. The film’s critics appreciated his performance. He made his appearance as an actor in the Malayalam movie “Marupadi” directed by V.M. Vinu that same year. He has performed as an actor in more than 150 south Indian films, including Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.
