Samuthirakani Early Life

He was born on April 26, 1973, in Tamil Nadu’s Seithur, a town close to Rajapalayam. At Rajapalayam Rajus College and Ambedkar Law College in Chennai, he received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and his Bachelor of Law, respectively. He entered the film industry after graduating from college with aspirations of becoming well-known. However, because of his physical attributes, he had to overcome many challenges before he could begin acting. He continued to make an effort. He had one line to speak in Pandiarajan’s “Padikkira Vayasu,” which was written for him.

Samuthirakani Career

He was first employed by the renowned director K. Balachander as an assistant. He directed the 2009 picture Nadodigal, which was such a hit that it was translated into three additional languages.

Then, in 1997, he started working as an assistant for ambitious director K Vijayan. Because of his persistent efforts in the industry, Samuthirakani grabbed the attention of the well-known filmmaker formerly known as Iyakkunar Sigaram K Balachander. Samuthirakani was then chosen for “Paarthale Paravasam,” one of his subsequent 100th film ventures.

Following that, he was offered the role of Balachander’s assistant in the wildly popular television show Anni, Arasi, and Selvi. The vast majority of American housewives watched and adored these serials. He then started scripting scenes and dialogue, using his innate storytelling skills. His modest but exceptional output was consistent, helming everything from mega-serials to feature films.

His best works include the novels “Unnai Charan Adainthen” and “Kani.” His most well-known remark at the time was, “If a project is a smash, it receives accolades, and if it’s not, the director is the bearer.”

Paruthiveeran started to work for filmmaker Ameer when he required a helper. A pivotal role in Subramaniapuram, directed by Sasikumar, gave him his big break, and roles in movies like Eesan and Porali later validated his acting prowess. The actor’s portrayal of a police officer in the movie Visaranai earned him Ananda Vikatan’s Best Character Artist Award.
