He played 55 different characters in 55 episodes of the Kundan Shah and Manjul Sinha-produced 1984 sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, and he played Prakash in 50 episodes of the Zee TV series Filmy Chakkar from 1995. In the popular television series Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, which aired in 2004, he also portrayed Indravadhan Sarabhai.
