Her father was a member of the Indian Air Force, therefore the family constantly relocated to different places like Kerala, Pathankot, Pune, and Allahabad. She was born on April 23, 1974, in Chandigarh, India. She was raised in the Indian state of Kerala’s Valanchery, in the Malappuram district. She has always had a love for the runway and the stage. She was chosen for the first season of the contentious reality series Bigg Boss Malayalam, which is hosted by Mohanlal, as a result of her huge acting career.

She was nurtured in a Hindu middle-class home and was born to Malayali parents. Her father, T. V. Narayanankutti, was a flight lieutenant in the Air Force, and her mother, Sarada Menon, is a stay-at-home mother. She is related to popular Malayalam actor Anoop Menon.
