Roshan Mathew Education

He received his diploma from Kottayam’s Kendriya Vidyalaya (Indian Government School). After that, he initially enrolled in CUSAT in Kochi as an engineering student before transferring to Madras Christian College in Chennai to complete his physics bachelor’s degree. He enrolled in acting classes at Mumbai’s Drama School after graduating from high school.

Roshan Mathew was born in Changanassery, Kerala, on March 22, 1992, a Sunday. His father, Mathew Joseph Thevalakkara, is a former deputy general manager of Canara Bank who was born into a South Indian family. His mother, Regina Augustine, was a former engineer for the People with Disabilities Department. Reshma Rege is the only sibling Mathew has.

Roshan Mathew Career

In August 2010, when the Chennai-based theatre company Stagefright Productions visited Roshan’s college to hold auditions for the cast of their stage production of Dirty Dancing, he began his career as a theatre performer. He played Neal Kellerman at Chennai’s Museum Theatre in February 2011. The Theatre No. 59 play group was founded by Roshan and his pals while he was a student at Madras Christian College. He performed in the 2016 adaptation of Eugene Shwartz’s “The Dragon” produced by The Drama School Mumbai. His other stage works include Given, Tughlaq, Murder Me Always, The Uprising, Kamala, and Leap.

He made his acting debut in 2015’s online miniseries “Tanlines” on Sony LIV, playing the role of Dan. He played the role of Premraj in a cameo appearance in the Malayalam movie “Adi Kapyare Kootamani” in 2015. In addition to “Aanandam” (2016), “Matchbox” (2017), “Koode” (2018), “Moothon” (2019), and “Kappela” (2020), he has appeared in numerous Malayalam movies. He took part in the 2020 Netflix Original movie “Choked,” which starred Saiyami Kher.
