Movie Verdict

Horror humour is a genre that has the potential to provide both a terrifying experience and a few laughs. There are numerous films of this type in India, although the Hindi cinema industry has just recently begun to produce horror comedies. Phone Bhoot contains a few funny parts, but if you are a true film fanatic, the plot and production of this film will remind you of several horror-comedy films in other languages.

Though the humour worked effectively in a few instances, the film’s thoughtless, irrational situations make it unwatchable. Even while horror comedy films have the same creative licence as other films, this does not mean that you may create anything and display it on screen.

Regarding her acting performances, Katrina Kaif appears stunning on-screen and did her best to demonstrate her acting abilities. She appears attractive in rare comedic scenes. Ishan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi are the film’s greatest assets, as they attempted to create amusement in every scene with their spontaneity and comic timing. Sheeba Chaddha has a small number of scenes, yet she leaves her imprint as an actor. Jackie Shroff and all of the other performers performed their roles as required by the plot.

The film Phone Bhoot is visually acceptable. The songs created by Tanishk Bagchi, Mikey Mccleary, Rochak Kohli, and Roy are subpar, but John Stewart Eduri’s background score keeps you interested. This film’s cinematography by K.U. Mohanan is very noteworthy. Manan Ashwin Mehta’s proficiency as an editor is reflected in the film’s length. The production values of the film are excellent.

With Phone Bhoot, director Gurmmeet Singh, who previously helmed a few episodes of Inside Edge and Mirzapur, attempted to create a comedy-drama. With this film, he is only partially successful in providing healthy enjoyment.

Overall, Phone Bhoot is an amusing horror comedy film with some hilarious scenes that may be viewed for a few laughs on the big screen.
