The middle son of the three is Ajith. He is one of the highest-paid actors in the nation and is referred to as Thala of Tollywood cinema. He has received numerous honours, including Tamil Nadu State Filmfare Kalaimamani Awards.

Ajith made his acting debut at the age of 21 in the 1992 Telugu film Prema Pustagam. His following film, Amaravathi, was a tremendous success in Tamil.
