Karan Career
In his early career, Karan worked as a child actor under the stage name Master Raghu, appearing in more than 70 Malayalam and Tamil movies. He first appeared in Rajinikanth’s 1990 film Annamalai uncredited but eventually rose to fame for playing a disobedient college student opposite Kamal Haasan in the 1992 movie Nammavar. Later, he made numerous Tamil film appearances, mostly alongside Vijay and Ajith.
With the release of Kokki in 2006, Karan launched his career as a leading man. Since then, he has appeared in a number of movies, including Karuppusamy Kuththagaithaarar and Kathavarayan. His most recent pieces include Uchathula Shiva (2014) and Sooran (2014).
After a clip from his 2018 film Coimbatore Mappillai went viral online, Shroov became synonymous with the actor.
